An accused robber is still on the loose after stealing from a woman earlier this week. Corporal Paul Mouton with Lafayette Police says it happened Monday afternoon around 2 PM at a home on South Magnolia Street. Mouton says the man went to the woman's house pretending to be a city worker who needed to take measurements inside her house for a new meter. But the woman says when he left the house, she noticed money missing from her purse. The suspect is described as a tall white male driving a newer model black dodge ram truck.
