The Louisiana Department of Education has release it's new figures on ACT scores which shows a large amount districts growing. From 2010 to 2011, 41 out of 71 districts saw increases. Comparing 2010 to 2009 average composite scores, only 29 out of 70 districts showed increases.

The districts that are showing the largest increase in scores are Tensas Parish with 7%, East Carroll Parish with 5.3%, Richland Parish with 5.3%, and RSD-New Orleans with 5.1%.
