Additional Charges Filed Against Men In Vermilion Deputy Shooting Case
Additional charges have filed against two men allegedly involved in the shooting death of a Vermilion Parish sheriff's deputy last week.
According to Brooks David with Louisiana State Police, both 20-year-old Quintylan Richard and 19-year-old Baylon Taylor have been charged with armed robbery after it was determined they stole Deputy Allen Bares, Jr.'s car while armed with a handgun.
They were each also charged with obstruction of justice.
Richard was also charged with felon in possession of a firearm since he had a previous felony conviction.
The case remains under investigation.
