Aguillard Dropout Puts Pressure On Lafayette School Board
And now plan B. The Lafayette Parish School Board must decide what to do now that Donald Aguillard has dropped from the running for the board's top job. Aguillard announced yesterday that he will stay put as the head of St. Mary parish's public school system. One option being floated is replacing Aguillard with Katherine Landry. She's the current deputy superintendent, and she finished fouth among other finalists vying for the spot earlier this month.
