Al Berard Music Festival Set for November 29

Beloved Cajun musician Al Berard will be honored with the first 'Al Berard Music Festival' on November 29 at Henry Guidry Memorial Park in Henderson. An all star lineup will be present for entertainment throughout the day, and a Cajun Jam session is also being planned for those who knew and loved Mr. Al, who passed away earlier this year. Proceeds will benefit the Al Berard Memorial Music Fund at the Community Foundation of Acadiana, which in part will provide musical instruments, master teachers, and music scholarships to students of all ages.

There will also be a cd release party, a live and silent auction, and an official poster, and other merchandise available for purchase. Gates open at 10:00 am, and admission is $10, and free for kids 12 and under. Check out the awesome musical lineup, and make plans to come out to honor Mr Al on November 29th!
