Louisiana State Police Spokesperson Sgt. James Anderson says 57-year-old Kenneth Dickey of Mobile, Alabama, was taken into custody Monday after State Police, along with the Louisiana Attorney General's Office, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Coast Guard Investigative Service and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, conducted a search warrant on the towboat that Dickey was docked in during a stop in Louisiana.

Anderson says they found the child pornography images on a computer and a cell phone that belonged to Dickey while he was docked in the vicinity of Intracoastal Park Road in Calcasieu Parish. Anderson says the man was downloading the illegal pictures from various locations between Florida and Louisiana.

Police say, during questioning, Dickey admitted to downloading the illegal images. He was arrested for possession of pornography involving juveniles and was booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center.

Dickey faces up to 10 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine if he is convicted.
