Albert Alexander Arrested By LP

On January 7, 2011, at approximately 2:30 pm, Lafayette Police received information that Albert Alexander was possibly in the area of Justin Street and Patterson Street. Lafayette Police located Alexander in the area and arrested him without incident. Alexander was transported to the Lafayette Police Department for questioning. He will be transported later to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and incarcerated on the warrants for Simple Battery (2 counts) and Improper Phone Usage. Lafayette Police discovered a cache of stolen property at Alexander’s residence in Lafayette on January 4th and 5th. The items were discovered as officers were searching the residence for Alexander and weapons. The case remains under investigation.
