A bomb threat disrupted the morning for students, faculty and staff at Northside High School on Friday.

School officials say the students were evacuated to the field next to Refuge Temple Ministry church, then returned to class after entire campus was swept by Lafayette Police and Fire officials and declared "all clear." The incident lasted a little bit over an hour.

“As always, the safety of our children, faculty and staff are our priority,” said Principal Julia Williams to parents as she expressed her appreciation of everyone's cooperation throughout the events.
