All Gulf Waters Safe

Scientists at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says the entire Gulf of Mexico is now open to harvesting seafood. NOAA has determined that waters surrounding the Deepwater Horizon wellhead, which exploded a year ago and poured millions of barrels of oil into the gulf, are no longer polluted.  So the fishing ban in that one-thousand square mile area has been lifted.
