Allied Waste Resumes Service, Announces Labor Day Week Schedule

LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL) -- Allied Waste and the Recycling Foundation will resume normal operations Thursday.

According to Mark Pope, Environmental Quality Manager for Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government, Wednesday routes will be run today, Thursday routes will run on Friday, and Friday routes will run on Saturday.

Pope also says there will be no service interruption nor changes to the waste collection schedule the week of Labor Day.
