State Police Spokesperson Trooper Stephen Hammons joined "Mornings With Ken & Bernie" today and answered questions about abandoned and uninsured vehicles.

Hammons responded to questions from Bernie about orange and green stickers seen on cars parked on road shoulders.  He explained orange stickers placed on cars by state troopers state that the vehicle is considered abandoned and the owner has 24 hours to move the vehicle.  In the case of green sticker troopers have determined the vehicle is not insured and will be towed in 24 hours.  Both cases mean the owner will have considerable expenses including, towing, storage, cost of retrieving the vehicle license plate and time spent.
