Apartment Fire In Lafayette

The Lafayette Fire department responded to 504 Martin Luther King Drive after an apartment fire was reported. When they arrived, firefighters found no one inside and the fire was put out in fifteen minutes.

The fire started in Ms. Erica Willis' home after one of her two children started the fire by igniting her bed with a lit candle. The family lost everything in the accident.
