Anna Olivier Launches 2016 “Windows For Widows” Giveaway
Anna Olivier from Jim Olivier's Home Improvement joined Rob and Bernie on Acadiana's Morning News to talk about this year's "Windows for Widows" giveaway. It's the 5th year of this great contest in which widows are nominated by loved ones to receive all new windows in their home courtesy of the company. Anna described why she has personally taken on this cause.
This home makeover is part of the Olivier's family mission. There are over 80 references in the Bible that teach us to care for widows and orphans, like James 1:27:
“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction,
and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”
Anna knows firsthand what it's like to be a widow after losing her husband Jim Olivier several years ago. She sees this giveaway as just a big hug for these women who deal with so much and put on such a brave face.
Submissions will be taken through July 4th.
