Hospice of Acadiana’s Annual Thrift Sale is happening this weekend at the Lafayette Event Center located at 4607 Johnston St.   A limited number of Burlap & Bargains Preview Party tickets and Skip the Line Saturday passes are still available.

Attendees can shop over 10,000 square feet of home décor, furniture, garden & outdoor items, toys, collectibles, art, kitchen items, and much more.  All proceeds from the event support unreimbursed services and programs offered by Hospice of Acadian such as indigent care funding and community wide bereavement services.

“Hundreds of volunteers will provide over 3,000 hours of service to make this event possible,” says Foundation Director, Lacey Maynor.  “It’s a tremendous undertaking and we are so grateful to all of the dedicated volunteers who have been giving so much of their time since we started collecting in June.”

The Annual Thrift Sale is a major fundraiser for Hospice of Acadiana.  The event drew over 1,000 shoppers last year and an even bigger turnout is expected this year.  Some exciting additions to this year’s event include an added shopping day and the Artisans & Artist Marketplace featured on Sunday, Nov. 6th.
