Another Deadly Crash On Interstate Ten

State Police say a crash on Interstate Ten at around 7 o'clock Sunday night took the life of a Carencro woman.

State Police report that 21-year-old Britaney Waldrep of Carencro was just passing up 27-year-old Miranda Olivier's car when Waldrep's car hit the the front left side of Olivier's car.

Both cars went off the road, and Waldrep's flipped over.  Waldrep was not wearing a seatbelt, and she was thrown out of the car.

Waldrep was pronounced dead at the scene, while Olivier was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Louisiana State Police Troop I have investigated 57 fatal crashes this year that resulted in 60 people losing their lives.
