AR-15’s Arming Marshal In St. Landry Parish

Deputies of the Ward One Marshal's office in St. Landry Parish will now have access to AR-15 rifles. According to our news partners at KATC City Marshal Paul Mouton said the guns were bought with money donated by various businesses. Mouton said they have about a thousand arrest warrants in their backlog and are beginning to whittle away at them. He says they haven't had to use force yet but now they'll have the weapons they need.
