The Queen of Soul needs some rest.

Aretha Franklin is clearing her tour itinerary for the next several weeks. She released a statement Monday (Aug. 22) saying it was "doctor's orders."  AP reports the 74-year-old singer has cancelled an August 26th show in Virginia. She'll also miss a September 15th performance at Radio City Music Hall in honor of Tony Bennett turning 90. A Sept. 23rd show has also been scrapped. Aretha reportedly hopes to get back on the road in November.
