Argument With Guns Leads To Arrest

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested two Patterson men who should know better than to do what they did.

The Sheriff's Office responded to the 200 block of Shivers Street this week after a complaint about some sort of disturbance.

Police arrested 66-year-old Kenneth J. Moore and 56-year-old Raymond Rice after deputies learned these two were threatening each other with handguns during an argument.

Moore was arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm, while Rice was arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm and disturbing the peace by intoxication. 

Moore was released on a summons, while Rice was booked into the St. Mary Parish and later bonded out.
