Armed Gunman Robs Adult Superstore Near Egan

Thursday night the Acadiana Adult Superstore near Egan was robbed by an armed gunman. Sheriff Wayne Melancon says deputies learned the suspect was a black male standing approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 145 pounds. The suspect wore a baseball cap, black bandana and a grey hooded jacket. Upon entering the store the suspect produced a handgun and demanded cash. Leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash the suspect drove off in a four door car red or burgundy in color.
