Armed Robbery Suspect On The Loose After Robbing Lafayette Business

Lafayette Police need your help trying to catch an accused thief.

Spokesman Cpl. Kyle Soriez says a suspect described as a black male went into the Cracker Barrel (according to our news partners at KATC) on 2103 NW Evangeline Thruway around 2:11 a.m. Wednesday morning, took out a firearm and demanded money. Police say the suspect was wearing a camouflaged hat, a long sleeve black shirt, blue jeans and a blue bandana covering his face. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
