Armed Robbery Takes Place In St. Landry Parish

Last night (WED) at approximately 9:00 St. Landry Parish Deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Dollar General on Highway 167.

According to Capt. Megan Vizena suspects entered the store armed with a pistol and demanded cash. Suspects left in black vehicle with dark tinted windows, possibly a Lincoln Town Car. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. If you have any information about this robbery you're asked to call St. Landry Crime Stoppers at 984-TIPS. If you're tip leads to an arrest you could earn a cash reward up to $1,000.
