Arrest Made In Breaux Bridge Kidnapping

A 25-year-old Lake Charles man accused of kidnapping a Breaux Bridge woman this week has now been booked into jail.

Police say Jeremiah Jones was booked on one count of second degree kidnapping, simple battery and armed robbery.

Spokeswoman for the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office Major Ginny Higgins says Jones was captured by U.S. marshals and deputies for the alleged kidnapping Monday.

Higgins says the victim was able to get away, but did suffer from minor injuries.
