Lafayette Police have announced that they have made an arrest in a car burglary that took place earlier in the week.  In the theft, someone broke into a vehicle on the Evangeline Thruway on on Tuesday.

Police were called today to investigate someone attempting to sell clothing in an area on the Evangeline Thruway.  Upon further investigation, they believe that the clothing was stolen from the vehicle and made an arrest.  49-year-old Barry Guidry is facing one count of burglary of an automobile.

This was the case where clothing and a dog came up missing.  The dog was later found after it had roamed a neighborhood nearby and was hurt after being injured by other dogs in the neighborhood.
