The following is a list of the arrest in St. Mary Parish:

Chelsey Gros, 24, 246 N. Prairie Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 5, 2015 at 11:29 am on three warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. Gros was transferred from a Calcasieu Parish jail facility and booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. Bail is set at $300,000.

 

Alice D. Jones, 52, 111 Darcy Road, New Iberia, LA was arrested on June 5, 2015 at 1:30 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal trespass. A deputy transported Jones from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. Jones was booked and later released on a $1,000 bond.

 

Keyia D. Pittman, 29, 906 Duke Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on June 5, 2015 at 8:04 pm for simple assault. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance in the parking lot of a business on Lake Palourde Road in Amelia. The deputy learned that while parking her vehicle, Pittman nearly struck a female victim’s vehicle. Pittman then verbally threatened the victim. The deputy released Pittman on a summons to appear in court on September 16, 2015.

 

Michael Alvarez, 39, 1212 Barrow Street, Amelia, LA was arrested on June 6, 2015 at 1:48 pm for disturbing the peace (intoxicated) and on 2 warrants for failure to appear for a drug court status conference. A deputy assigned to patrol the Amelia area observed three male subjects who appeared to be arguing in the parking lot of a business on Highway 182. The deputy made contact with the subjects. One of the subjects, identified as Alvarez, appeared to be highly intoxicated. Following an investigation, the deputy transported Alvarez to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $200,500.

 

Jeremy Bobbitt, 35, 107 Andras Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA was arrested on June 6, 2015 at 3:55 am for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and criminal damage to property. A deputy responded to a disturbance at a residence on Sebby’s Lane in Bayou Vista and learned that Bobbitt entered into a residence and began breaking items inside the home. Bobbitt knew the owner of the residence and entered without the homeowner’s permission. The deputy transported Bobbitt to the parish jail. No bail is set.

 

Taylor Murphy, 20, 151 Green Leaf Boulevard, Morgan City, LA was arrested on June 6, 2015 at 7:05 pm on 2 Morgan City Police Department warrants for telephone harassment and for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace. A deputy made contact with Murphy at a residence on Sun Road and learned of the active warrants for her arrest. The deputy transported Murphy to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Johnathan Russo, 26, 213 Charenton Road, Baldwin, LA was arrested on June 7, 2015 at 12:11 am for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a complaint of a battery that occurred in the Centerville area. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Russo grabbed a female victim by the arm while the two were travelling in a vehicle. The deputy transported Russo to the parish jail for booking. Russo was released after posting a $5,000 bond.

 

Ever Perez, 30, 716 Onstead Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on June 7, 2015 at 12:29 am for disturbing the peace (intoxicated) and entry or remaining in places or on land after being forbidden. A deputy was flagged down by the employees of a business on Highway 182 in Amelia in reference to an intoxicated subject. The deputy made contact with Perez, and observed that he was in a highly intoxicated state. The deputy learned that Perez had previously been told not to return to the location. The deputy transported Perez to the parish jail for booking. Perez was later released on a $1,000 bond.
