Arrests After Stolen Fuel Cards From Baker Hughes’ Vehicles

The Duson Police Chief says that several Minden Louisiana people were arrested for the theft of fuel cards from Baker Hughes that were used at Love's Truck Stops in several states. The total amount of fraud was over $500,000.

Duson Chief Kip Judice says they started investigating in February after a woman used a stolen access card from the Broussard location of Baker Hughes at a the Love's Truck Stop in Duson.

Judice says several fuel cards were stolen from vehicles in the Baker Hughes yard, and some $5,000 dollars was charged to the cards.

Police say there was another occurance cards being used at Love's in May of this year, and it appears the same woman used the cards from the Crowley Baker Hughes' yard, stealing over $7,000 in the prcess.

Sarah Elizabeth Green was then shown a Crime Stoppers video, and she admitted that she was the person who was using one of the cards.

Chief Judice says that he got calls from police officials in multiple states who were investigating similar crimes. He says the same female was seen on video using stolen cards.

The Chief says that 49 police department investgated, and then Webster Parish Sheriff's booked the following people into their jail:

William Harry Dishinger 44 years old from Minden, LA who has been charged as a fugitive from justice for Claiborne Parish LA and Tarrant County TX, Conspiracy to commit burglary, Conspiracy to commit access device fraud, access device fraud, money laundering, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sarah Elizabeth Green 35 years old from Minden, LA who was identified as and confessed to being the person in the video who has been charged with Conspiracy to commit burglary, Conspiracy to commit Access Device Fraud, Access device fraud, Money laundering, fugitive from Arlington, Texas.

Janice Faye Sherman 48 years old from Minden, LA who has been charged with Access device fraud, Conspiracy to commit access device fraud, and Money laundering.

Macy Leigh Butler 25 years old from Minden, LA charged with Conspiracy to commit access device fraud, Access device fraud, Possession of schedule II drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tiffany Ann Caldwell 30 years old from Minden, LA charged with Conspiracy to commit burglary, Conspiracy to commit access device fraud, Possession of stolen things, Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Milligan Shawn William 27 years old from Minden, LA charged with Conspiracy to commit a burglary, Conspiracy to commit access device fraud, Possession of stolen things, and Fugitive from Claiborne Parish, LA.

Chief Judice says that more arrests are likely in connections with the case.

New Mexico
Arkansas
Kansas
Mississippi

Chief Judice says that several of the people arrested in connection with the case decided to use the cards in smaller towns because they thought that police in these areas would be less competent, and small towns lack the resources of bigger towns.
