Arson Suspected In Early Morning House Fire In Lafayette

Someone allegedly set fire to another person's home at 526 ½ East Main Street early Tuesday morning.

Lafayette Fire Department PIO Alton Trahan says the owner was not home, so there were no injuries, and emergency crews were able to put out the small fire quickly, around 4:00 a.m. The fire did cause minor damages to the outside of the home, however.
