It was 75 years ago today that Pearl Harbor was attacked, and Ray Chavez was there. Today, Ray Chavez is back in Pearl Harbor to mark the 75th Anniversary.

NBC News did a segment on Mr.  Chavez, at 104 years young, shedding light on his 3-year journey back to Pearl Harbor, which included time in the gym to make certain he had the stamina to make the trip. It is believed that Mr. Chavez is the oldest veteran who survived the attack.

This story is amazing, and it will make you swell with pride.

Thank you for your service, Mr. Chavez. We salute your determination and patriotism.
