Authorities Looking For Men Who Robbed Melville Bank

Police are looking for two men who robbed a bank. St. Landry Parish authorities say two black men went into the United Mississippi Branch Bank in Melville on Wednesday of last week armed with handguns, a backpack and a shopping bag. After forcing the tellers and the bank manager to fill the bags, they ran away.

The bank is offering a $5,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the people involved in the robbery.

One of the suspects is described as dark complexted, approximately 6' 4", medium build. He was wearing a white hooded pullover jacket with black stripes along the top and blue jeans. The other suspect is described as medium brown complexion, approximately 5' 8". He was wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans.
