Authorities Patrolling Butte Larose-Happy Town Area

St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Deputies are patrolling the Butte Larose-Happy Town area on a 24-hour basis. Unnecessary non-resident traffic on the levees will be strictly enforced. Authorities are urging residents to report any suspicious vehicles or people who may be giving out false information regarding the impending rising water by calling 911. Therefore, residents are urged to call the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office Information Line at (337) 394-2810 or (337) 394-2811 with any questions, or visit the website, www.stmartinohsep.org for the most up to date information regarding this event. Also, the Pontoon Bridge in Butte Larose will be shut down on Tuesday.
