Authorities Still Looking For Suspects In Sonnier’s Death
Two men believed to be involved in the death of Cory Sonnier last month are still being sought by St. Martin Parish Authorities. Major Ginny Higgins with the Sheriff's Office says investigators are looking to charge Patrick Paul George with obstruction of justice. They believe he's possibly in Georgia or somewhere along the I-10 corridor. George is a 39-year-old black man from Lafayette who's about 5'8", 185 pounds. He's believed to be driving either a green Geo Tracker or a white Ford Crown Victoria, both with Louisiana plates. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Investigators also want to question 19-year-old David James Anderson, Jr. He's also from Lafayette. Anderson is black, about 5'10" and weighs about 140 pounds. Anderson is also wanted by the Lafayette Drug Court System. If anyone has any information on where these men may be, call 911 or the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office at 337-394-3071.
