Authorities Trying To Subdue Armed Man

A double homicide in Ville Platte today. Officials with the state’s Insurance Fraud Task Force say two agents were shot and killed, as they tried to serve a cease & desist order at Lavergne’s Insurance in Ville Platte. State Police say an armed person is reportedly still inside the business. State Police and other local authorities are on the scene.
