Axelrod, Obama Comments Could Prove Haunting

Comments coming from the past, both recent and from the more distant past, could haunt the Obama campaign for reelection.

First, David Axelrod made some comments about the economy and the middle class back in 1994, saying that former President Bush Sr. shouldn't have talked about the economy from the golf course.

Also, President Obama is facing trouble in the polls after claiming that the private sector is doing just fine.  His standing shows that Romney has closed to within a point nationally.
