Back to the Top: Cajuns Ranked #1 by Collegiate Baseball

After slipping to the #2 spot last week, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are again ranked as the top college baseball team in America by Collegiate Baseball Magazine.

South Carolina (26-5), ranked #1 last week, fell to #4 in the new poll.

In addition, the Cajuns are ranked #3 by Perfect Game, #3 in the USA Today Poll, and #3 by Baseball America.

The Cajuns (30-3), went 4-0 last week with wins over Tulane (16-0) and three wins over Troy (15-4, 11-8. 11-0).

LSU  (24-8-1) also had a 4-0 week and is ranked #15 by Collegiate Baseball, #11 in Perfect Game, #8 in the USA Today Poll and #15 by Baseball America.

The Cajuns face a five game week this week, hosting New Orleans at M. L. "Tigue" Moore Field on Tuesday, then traveling to McNeese State Wednesday.  Louisiana will then host Arkansas-Little Rock in a three game set beginning Friday night.
