Barricades Being Placed In Lafayette On Friday In Preparation For Heritage Parade

Not long after the barricades were picked up following the Mardi Gras parades, they are reappearing at the Heritage Parade in Lafayette this weekend.

Lafayette Police and Public Works are placing barricades on Friday (Feb. 23) from 8 AM until 12:00 PM on W. Willow Street between Evangeline Thruway and Reading Road.

The parade starts at 2 PM Sunday on W. Willow at Reading and ends at the Clifton Chenier Center at 220 W. Willow.

The barricades will be picked up on the following Monday morning from 8 AM until 12:00 PM.
