Baton Rouge-Bound Lane Closures Happening On I-10 For Next 2 Weeks

Heading to Baton Rouge over the next two weeks?

If so, there are some nightly lane closures happening on Interstate 10 over the next two weeks that you will want to be aware of.

Beginning at 10 p.m. tonight, there will be eastbound nightly lane closures starting at mile post 135 and ending at mile post 137, covering Iberville and West Baton Rouge Parishes.

Each night, from tonight until Sunday, these closures will last from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. as crews construct the I-10 cable barrier.

You can expect heavy delays.

Suggested Detour Route: Take I-10 EB to I-49 NB. Proceed north to US 190 EB. Take US 190 east to LA 415. Proceed south on LA 415 SB to I-10 EB.
