BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — With the worst of Isaac blown through, Baton Rouge planned to reopen city-parish government offices Friday.

The capital city saw relatively minor damage from the storm, mainly tree damage and power outages.

The damage was not nearly as severe as when Hurricane Gustav devastated the area four years ago, severely damaging the power grid, toppling trees and leaving some houses stripped of roofs.
