Baton Rouge Rapper ‘Lil Boosie’ Released From Prison
Rapper Torrence 'Lil Boosie' Hatch has been released from Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola where he was serving an 8 year sentence for drug charges.
The 31-year-old Baton Rouge native will remain on supervised parole until 2018.
Hatch was also involved in a highly publicized murder trail in 2009 for the murder of 35-year-old Terry Boyd. Hatch was later acquitted in 2012.
Hatch began to gain notoriety around 2003 after the release of the album For My Thugz under the record label Trill Entertainment.
Hatch is best known for songs like Do Tha Ratchet, Wipe Me Down, Set It Off, Zoom, and Independent.
