BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Police say a 28-year-old man was shot and killed in his Baton Rouge home.

Detectives say Shermaine Matthews died early Tuesday morning from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the shooter was last seen fleeing on foot.

Detectives say they have no motive in the fatal shooting.
