Baton Rouge Police: Baby Drowns In Tub

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Baton Rouge police are investigating the death of an 11-month-old infant.

Cpl. L'Jean McKneely said in a news release police were called at 9 p.m. Tuesday to an apartment complex where an infant was found in the bath tub.

McKneely said the baby was taken to a local hospital where the baby was later pronounced dead.

He says it appears the infant drowned.
