BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Baton Rouge police are investigating a possible homicide after a body was found in the trunk of a car parked at a beauty salon.

Cpl. Tommy Stubbs tells The Advocate the man had noticeable trauma to his head, but officers were unable to determine a cause of death.

Jason Coates, co-owner of the salon, told the newspaper he received a phone call from a client at about 8:45 a.m. Thursday who said a car was blocking the driveway at the back of the building where employees and customers park.

Police have not released the name of the victim.

Stubbs said an autopsy was scheduled for Friday.
