BBB Warns Of Scam Involving Wasserman Saul & Associates

The Better Business Bureau of Acadiana warns of a company doing business as Credit Repair USA. The company claims they can 'erase bad credit' for $269 but they've earned an 'F' rating from the Better Business Bureau. The firm Wasserman Saul & Associates is the firm doing business as Credit Repair USA and has had seven complaints filed against them and they've failed to respond to six complaints.

According to the Federal Trade Commission's Fair Credit Reporting Act, companies cannot remove accurate credit information even if it is negative.

The BBB says you should consider credit counseling instead of using a credit repair service.
