Next Wednesday, August 3, there will be an Open House Public Meeting in conjunction with the I-49 Connector Project at the Progressive Community Outreach Center at 125 Gallian Street.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will have multiple exhibits for the public, a multi-media presentation and people working on the project who can answer questions.

The event will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

DOTD Secretary Shawn Wilson says,

“This meeting is an opportunity for the community to review all the refinement concepts under consideration and provide feedback. We want everyone to be engaged in a meaningful way such that we can get this important project moving forward.”

This is your chance to speak your mind about the 19 proposed refinement concepts for an alternative, and you can give your feedback on any modifications that you think the project requires.
