BESE To Vote On New Evaluation Plan Soon
A special committee of the Board of Elementary & Secondary Education is set to review the state's new evaluation plan for public school teachers. BESE president Penny Dastugue says the new method for annual reviews will use standardized test scores to rate educators on a scale of 1 to 5. The new system will take effect for Fall 2012. BESE is expected to vote on the plan tomorrow.
