Parents across Louisiana are learning and practicing a new skill all at the same time: Teaching. Since schools were closed in accordance with the Governor's stay-at-home order, parents have been counting the days until they go back. Yes, it's been nice to have family time, but kids need to learn from professionals. Parents are not educators, but we're trying as hard as we can. Holly Boffy is our representative on the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education. She says there are a number of factors, but that districts should be the ones to decide when students go back to class.
