Bicyclist Hit By Vehicle In Acadia Parish Identified

The bicyclist injured Tuesday morning by a vehicle has been identified as 27-year-old Jessica Randal, according to our news partners at KATC.

Acadia Parish deputies say Randal was thrown from her bicycle after getting hit from behind by a female driver who was going the same direction.

Randal's family says Jessica is still listed in critical condition at a Lafayette hospital.

No charges have been filed against the driver of the vehicle, though authorities continue to investigate.
