A hit-and-run Saturday puts a 19-year-old bicyclist in the hospital and has Eunice police looking for who did it.

After getting a call Saturday about the accident, Eunice Police were notified that the apparent victim was being treated at the emergency room. While the caller was unsure of the exact location of the incident, the victim told police he was riding his bike in the 200 block of S. 2nd Street when a vehicle pulled behind him, blowing the horn. The victim says the silver car then hit him from behind, flipping him off his bike, then drove off.

The victim suffered lacerations to his face, hip and legs. He has since been released from the hospital.

The victim was not able to get any other information on either the car or the driver - just that the car was silver.

If you have any information, you're asked to call the Eunice Police Department.
