Biden Claims They Didn’t Know? Yeah, Right!

Vice President Joe Biden Gestures Before The State Of The Union Address

Vice President Joe Biden made the claim in front of the American people and now the White House is backing him up that the President and Vice President were not made aware of the security request for the consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

Here are the only two reactions that I think you could have to this issue.  If the request was not brought before either of these men, then the State department fouled up big time.  If they were brought before them and Biden is telling us that he knew nothing about it, then that would be a lie told to the American people.

Either way, it doesn’t look good for an administration that is being trapped in it’s own lies on everything Libya.  And why not?  They have lied about Libya ever since we sent military troops that we didn’t send in a war that wasn’t a war but a kinetic military action.  Now, when we have an ambassador killed in the line of duty for the first time in years, the administration either didn’t find out about what they were told or they did and they didn’t want to let on.  One is just inept, the other is far, far worse.

This is closing in on the Obama Administration at just the wrong time.  On one hand they were inept, or on the other Hillary Clinton was inept.  Obama will try to walk the line and not call it that as long as possible, but if it comes down to it, Hillary may have to go and that would not bode well this close to the election.  Of course, if he did know about it and did nothing, then we have a situation that is totally without any hope for the President.  It is a lose-lose situation that they are trying very hard to tightrope walk.

There is more to what happened in Libya and it all comes down to an administration that was inept in some form or another.  That is not going to help Obama, no matter whose fault it is.
