3:35 p.m. Thursday, July 19 - "Billy the  Exterminator" and his wife, Mary, has pled not guilty to drug charges. Bill and Mary Bretherton were each arrested and charged with one count of possession of synthetic
marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to court documents, they had not yet hired an attorney but planned to do so before a Sept. 19 hearing before a judge. The couple entered their pleas Wednesday in state District Court in Bossier Parish.

8:35 p.m. Tuesday, June 5 - "Billy the Exterminator" has been busted for possession of synthetic marijuana. It began in April when Bossier City Police found the synthaweed in a Boardwalk hotel room where Billy and his wife, Mary, were staying.

Officers did not arrest the couple at the time, but after testing the substance, issued a warrant for his arrest. The couple turned themselves in and have bonded out, each at $6,000.

Billy is about to begin shooting the popular A&E show. He is the proprietor of Vexcon Animal and Pest Control in Benton, Louisiana, and the show follows him and his family as they handle all kinds of pests for the people in the Shreveport-Bossier area.
