Boat Theft Being Investigated In Bayou Vista

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in regards to the theft of a boat in Bayou Vista. According to surveillance video the boat was taken from a home in the 300 block of Jupiter Street at 3:00am Monday, April 27th. The suspects made off with a 24 foot Carolina Skiff with a 250 horsepower Yamaha outboard motor. The thieves were driving a light colored pick-up truck.
