Body Found – Believed To Be That Of Missing Woman

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz says a missing woman's husband showed investigators this weekend where the woman's body was.  The man, 59-year-old Arthur Tillett, says he found his wife dead back in June.

Tillett has been booked with obstructing justice.

Guidroz says Tillett told them he had nothing to do with his wife's death.  64-year-old Sandra Tillett's body was found underneath a shed on Saturday.

The woman did have an illness that required here to use oxygen.

Deputies had started searching for Sandra Tillett on Saturday, December 14 after the woman's daughter called then saying she had not heard from her mother since June.

The sheriff says, at first, Arthur Tillett told deputies that his wife was visiting relatives outside of the state.
